Years 1, 2 and 3 painted a graffiti on one of the playground walls. Mariana Alvarez, Art teacher, started it off with an inspirational painting and phrase. They were so delighted that they even drew on the floor. Other children planted some sunflower seeds into some biodegradable toilette paper tubes. And Julio, the school gardener, helped out. Year 4 children learnt how to make paper bags out of magazines. Year 5 and 6 could take part in a photo contest: "Me and the world". They had the chance to show their talent in capturing images that may encourage the conservation of nature and all its living creatures. They also had the opportunity to leave their messages in the graffiti. Los alumnos de AÑO 1, 2 y 3 pintaron un grafiti en una de las paredes del patio. La Prof. de Arte Mariana Álvarez comenzó con un mensaje y un dibujo inspirador. Los más pequeños estaban tan encantados con la actividad que hasta dibujaron el piso. Otros alumnos plantaron semillas de girasol en tubos biodegradables de papel higiénico. Y Julio, el jardinero, vino a ayudar. Los alumnos de AÑO 4 aprendieron a hacer bolsas de papel con revistas. Los alumnos de AÑO 5 y AÑO 6 pudieron participar de un concurso fotográfico: "Me and the world". Tuvieron la posibilidad de mostrar su talento capturando imágenes que incentivaran la conservación de la naturaleza y todos los seres vivos. Ellos también tuvieron la oportunidad de dejar sus mensajes en el grafiti. |
