Gathering in the
UK organized by our Correspondent Pat Tanner ON 52’

I never expected to live one of the
happiest moments in the UK.
The reunion that you organised, held at the London
Rowing Club was full of emotions. That Sunday 22nd of April was to
become a memorable day. Jehane Flint Taylor who lives in the US and me
were once again together having lunch as in many previous occasions at
Northlands, as the Headmistress and the Spanish Rectora discussing
academic issues. We were both stunned. We had so many things to speak
about, so many unfinished topics. Life went back to 1983 and onwards.
Jehane had especially come to be at the reunion.
She knows many old northlanders who live in the UK. Many like her came
from afar, Oxford, Edinburgh, to name a few. For all of them it was
worth the journey.
We were so many, all happy to be there,
remembering old times, chatting and laughing as though we were school
girls again. I had a wonderful time and felt at home.
I want to thank you for allowing these things to happen and for keeping
the old school spirit in a distant place but with a familiar surrounding,
Tigre, in London. You are
the embodiment of the school motto, Friendship and Service.
Warm regards and please continue
being the link.

Celebrando Décadas: Cocktail 10 años de egresadas,
camada 97’
Muchas gracias, Sofía Landaburu ON 97’ ”
